Since 1976, ISCOTRANS has been operating in the field of transportation by sea, land
and air as well as in the storage and International distribution logistics.
The company specializes in the shipment of industrial plants and machinery and
chemicals, its experienced staff ensures that the shipment of goods IMO (International
Maritime Organization) is handled in a fully compliant manner.
In 2007, ISCOTRANS in association with 13 other Companies set up Tandem Global
Logistics, an important NVOCC which currently boasts worldwide coverage through its
117 offices in 60 different countries. This network, along with the contacts developed
over 40 years of business activity, enables ISCOTRANS to arrange the coordination
worldwide of the shipment at every phase of the project.
ISCOTRANS operates daily with high-quality, customized services, supporting both the
world’s leading Italian and foreign customers during the stages of the transportation up
to the delivery to the site of destination and providing end-to-end logistics solutions.
ISCOTRANS staff share their expertise with leading plant engineering companies in
shipments to remote areas of plants and machinery of heavy and over dimensional
loads from the initial planning stages of the transport in order to tailor the best delivery
system to meet customers’ requirements in compliance with projects baselines and
schedule.
ISCOTRANS staff arranges for the timely collection, packaging, warehousing and
transport to the loading port, selecting the most suitable vessels for the shipment and
handles the distribution in collaboration with its foreign correspondents up to final
delivery.
ISCOTRANS uses liner shipping services, chartered vessels, both traditional and
specialized, specialized vehicles, besides air cargo capacity of any type for the transport
of exceptional loads all over Europe and in the world, with selected carriers and in
compliance with quality and service qualifications.
