History
Ruhrpumpen was founded in 1950 in Witten, Germany. In 1997, the company is acquired
by Corporación EG a privately held organization focused on the production and supply of
tailor-made pumps and engineering solutions. Corporación EG, began operations in 1979 as
a small machine shop in Monterrey, México. Through capital investments, acquisitions, and
a strong focus on customer needs, the company has become a global supplier of centrifugal
pumps.
